It was still cold after arriving Krakow, especially it's sunny since no cloud is shielding the heat loss. My clothings can only stands for -5, but I never prepared for -20. At last I need to warm myself by going inside shops every 20 mins, making the entire old city walk longer than usual. Since then I understand why Volka is so popular in Poland!

Price in Krakow is quite affortable, I just love this hotel, it's about Eur80 with breakfast, next to the main train station and downstairs to the bus stop to the UNESCO heritage salt mine.
Interior is very nice.
Today I am going to Wieliczka salt mine. It took only 1 eur by bus to go, pretty convenient.
Entrance. The salt mine is underground for 327m. This deposit of rock salt in Wieliczka-Bochnia has been mined since the 13th century.
This is the salt rock which comprised this floor.
During leisure time, the miner crafted the salt rock for fun.
The salt deposit is everywhere.
The crystalised salt, making this crystal-like lamp.
Leaving the icy land, continue my journey!
